To celebrate April Fools with some good old-fashioned laughter, celebrate the good two-year run of Aikatsu Stars! and celebrate Akari’s birthday, Lazy Lily Fansubs happily present you our next Aikatsu! translation — Sakuraba Rola no Joushiki, translated as “Sakuraba Rola’s Cluelessness”!

Aikatsu Stars! had divided a lot of fans—On one side appreciated the spinoff series that did its own thing instead of repeating the same mistakes made by OG Aikatsu! S3-S4, and on the other side we have fans who just wanted to see of the OG cast, and see their favorite idols grow up and shine even brighter. If there’s a third side, it’d be the group of fans who hated their own reproductive organs because Stars has guys in it, and proceeded to devalue the spinoff series. They totally forgot Naoto and Johnny were guys in OG Aikatsu!, but let’s not ruin their delusions and let them cut off their… April Fools! It was just a harmless jab at our fellow weebs! So don’t take it seriously! Ain’t you have no sense of humor, me auld chum?
*ahem*
As you may have noticed, Aikatsu Stars! has aired its final episode last week and it will be replaced with a new spinoff titled Aikatsu Friends! Personally, I enjoyed Stars overall and I thought the stories were great. Season 1 was more drama heavy and a lot of them were forced, or out of place, but it ended nicely. Season 2 was even better because the drama was less frequent and majority of the episodes were focused on idol activities. Yeah, I get it, a certain Pop Type idol was neglected, but to me, the writers didn’t completely follow the checklist of things to write and ended up creating stories and situations that are unexpected. But anyway, we translated this doujin to celebrate the closure Aikatsu Stars!, and the tons of fun and character it has given us. This doujin is like a love letter of sort for the anime, so we hope you’ll get a laugh out of this!
